Year 2 Key Dates

Please check your child’s book bag for additional work packs which have been sent home.
Most importantly, please make sure you read. As often as you can, preferably every day. This reading is vital to make sure the children can maintain the progress they have already made this year.
Reading Ideas:
Keep a diary of new words which the children learn
Make books reviews/film reviews
Design and make your favourite book character
Compare different books
Scavenger Book Hunt – write a list of 20 words, search your books and see who can find all of the words first.
For additional work to complete with your child at home, please visit the Year 2 Homework section for lots of work to download. In addition to this, here is a list of websites so you can practise those key skills each day.
