Year 1 Key Dates
Transition from Reception into Year 1
At Bournemouth Park Academy it is a priority that Year 1 pupils have a solid understanding of the transition period from EYFS to Year 1.
Year 1 teachers will ensure that gaps within the EYFS framework and Year 1 knowledge and skills are clearly identified and filled accordingly. The children's knowledge will be extend to enable all pupils, particularly disadvantaged pupils and including pupils with SEND, to improve their personal development and well-being. Year 1 pupils will have access to a broad range of resources linked to the EYFS framework and the seven areas of learning that they will be able to access both inside and outside the classroom.
