Maths

In Maths this week we would be starting a new chapter of Power Maths that focuses on Multiplication & Division

Within this unit it is important that children gain an understanding of 'equal grouping' as well as being able to identify groups that aren't equal. Pupils will then be introduced to the multiplication symbol (x) and it is important to begin by exploring what pupils already think that this means?

After pupils will be introduced to 'arrays' as a representation of multiplication and how 'repeated addition' works alongside multiplication number sentences.

Watch the following videos each day and then complete the attached worksheet. Please don't forget we love seeing all your hard work so please don't forget to dojo us any of your amazing work :)
