Monday: Exclamation Marks
Show them the ‘y as an e’ poster - ask them to say the words, ask them what the spellings have in common and what the the y sounds like (an e). Then, show them the ‘y as an e’ video.
Wednesday: Exclamation Marks
Work through the PowerPoint which recaps exclamation marks (as well as question marks and full stops). Then, do activity 1 and activity 2.
Thursday: Spelling Test
Do a spelling test (very, happy, spotty, party, funny) and submit the scores to the class teacher.
